GateOR · Decision control for AI agents

Frequently asked questions about GateOR

Straight answers about what GateOR evaluates, what remains under application control, and how to start a pilot.

What does GateOR do?

GateOR evaluates actions proposed by AI agents against defined business policies. It returns a decision and reasons so the integrating application can decide whether to proceed, pause or refuse the action.

Does GateOR execute an agent's action?

No. GateOR evaluates proposals; your application controls access to the business system and executes only after a resolved final ALLOW.

What happens when a decision requires human review?

A pending review holds the proposal without authorizing execution. An authorized reviewer approves or rejects the case, and the integrating application then checks the final decision.

What if the API or evaluation fails?

A failed evaluation or API error never authorizes an action. Your application must keep it paused or refuse it.

Do policy checks need an LLM?

Explicit policy evaluation and statistical checks do not require an LLM. GateOR also includes adversarial AI validation that inspects the agent's reasoning for inconsistencies.

Does GateOR guarantee compliance or prevent every unsafe action?

No. GateOR offers decision and review mechanisms; domain requirements, reliable evidence, application-level enforcement and operating safeguards still need independent validation.

How can we evaluate GateOR?

GateOR currently offers guided demos and early pilots. A scoped discussion can establish appropriate policies, integration requirements and whether the product fits the intended workflow.
